Here is a list of some of the important updates made to the Liberate Characterization Portfolio in this release:
- Enhanced Bolt Job Distribution System (Liberate Trio)
Liberate offers bolt job distribution system that is robust and highly scalable for job distribution. This system allows high scalability for utilizing thousands of CPUs in parallel, including the CPUs in cloud infrastructures. It also provides performance improvements in all characterization, variation modeling, and validation runs. - Health Incidents Report Supported in Bolt Job Distribution System (Liberate Trio)
In this release, like the traditional job distribution platform, a client health incidents report file namedclient_N_HOST_health.rpt
will be written automatically in the Bolt job distribution system. This file will be useful for analyzing the processes that are using up the machine resources. - Ascava Distillation Tool Support Available (Liberate)
Liberate is now compatible with Ascava Distillation technology that produces compression of Liberty files up to twice of what thetar
orgzip
utility produces, and in shorter run time. The LIBERATE 19.2 release includes a free trial of Ascava Distillation software. - Leakage Power Measurement Support (Liberate AMS)
Thedefine_leakage
command now provides options that let you define the time period in which power leakage should be measured.
